    We recommend 2 weeks off work and heavy lifting. Recovery also depends on the patient’s spirit; a positive attitude goes a long way.

    Dr. i had abdominoplasty 2 years ago in Colombia and I’m noticing that my scar is getting wide. is there anything you recommend to avoid further stretching… and why does this happens??

    I had a Tummy Tuck in beginning of Jnauary 2010 and i only had to have 2 weeks off from work but I was NOT abe to do HEAVY LIFTING!!! But again my spirit was high and I had a positive attitude and got through it QUICK!!!

    It’s totally safe to become pregnant after a tummy tuck. There is no risk to the baby, its safe! so dont worry :) Your skin will stretch to accommodate the changes. Skin elasticity varies with each individual but chances are that it will snap right back. In some cases tho, you might need a revision or a second tummy tuck.

    I had my tummy tuck done a few months ago and I feel fabulous!! I feel comfortable with and without cloth because my scar looks great!! All my friends compliment me and are coming to see the man with the magic hands. Thank You Dr Salzhauer for your amazing work!!!!!!!

    An abdominoplasty is always preferrable to have after a woman is done having children.. Like that results can last for a longer period of time…

    Yes, you can have a baby and go full term with pregnancy after a Tummy Tuck.

    Abdomioplastys are recommended to get done after having all of your kids, so you wont put your body through so many surgeries!

    You have to have the drains for one week. This is very important for your recovery.

    The tummy tuck down time is at least 2 weeks
