I have saline implants. I would like to switch them to silicone…. Would you recommend that?

I would definitely go for silicone. I had saline implants put in about 4 years ago because at the time I wasnt eligible for silicone. There was some kind of study going on for which I wasnt eligible for. I exchanged them earlier this year after a couple of my friends had silicone implants put in. What a difference!! they look almost the same, but they feel waaay different. In my opinion, go for silicone!!.

About two years ago I had a breast augmentation with saline implants with Dr. Salzhauer (I wanted a full D/DD at the time), over the couple years I decided it was time for me to go down a cup size because I felt it would be more proportionate with my frame. Just last month I went through with the surgery ( a breast lift with implants) and decided to go with the silicone implants this time around. Initially I was a bit frightened to go this route because of horror stories I had heard about from those who had silicone implants way in the past, but Dr. Salzhauer made me aware of the FDA approved silicone implants of this era. He explained to me about their cohesive gel material, which even if the implant were to be punctured the silicone gel would stay in tact. That was my deciding factor to go ahead with the silicone. Overall, the type of implant you decide upon is a personal choice. A few of my friends have silicone implants and they’re very happy with their decision, some of them even say it feels more natural than the saline. I personally am ecstatic with the outcome of my breasts and content with my decision! They look absolutely amazing and I’m so excited I decided to go through with the surgery!

Well.. I have silicone myself only beacuse I figured if I was going to invest in something for my body I wanted to invest in the best!!! And I definetely chose the best you can’t compare silicone to saline I call silicone the “Rolls Royce” of breast.

Definitely silicone, I’ve noticed that both look pretty much the same, natural, but silicone feels more like a real breast

Ive thought about breast augmentation for a while but im afraid that my breasts wont look or feel natural since they are so small to begin with. How can the breast augmentation be done without having that big gap in between which ive seen on some women who had small breasts and then had implants?

I had saline implants and had them changed to silicone only a few months after. I love the look and feel of my silicone implants. They look so natural people do not even know they are implants.

In response to the post regarding the sharp pains on your breasts, that’s normal and it’s just your nerves growing back. I had a breast augmentation about 2 years ago and I remember getting those sharp sudden pains once in a while up until about a year after surgery.
